Take a glass of beer or wine with you and enjoy a soothing stroll through the native bush and down to the Buller river. You can also take a swim or set out your rod and have a go at fishing.

The Murchison Information Centre is 8kms into town and has information on a full range of activities including the start of the Old Ghost Cycle Trail at Lyell. For your favourite cup of coffee, the Red Barn Café and Animal Park is located just 500m from the park.
